FryFilm Crew & Associates
Profiles of some of our highly skilled, friendly & professional video crew

John E Fry
FryFim Steadicam
The main producer & director at FryFilm, John has almost 10 years experience working in features, documentaries, corporates, outside broadcasts & TV. His career began as a lighting cameraman but soon progressed into what has become his real passion: Steadicam Operating. As the number of corporate videos we produce has increased John has moved into directing & producing as well, but you will usually find him behind a lens. He has even had some notable turns at presenting, mainly on travel documenatries but also on local TV news and DVDs. John concentrates hard on making every job go as smoothly and as efficiently as possible whatever his role, and his keen sense of humour and good common sense help create a friendly and very productive atmosphere.

Filming has taken John to many parts of the world, including much of Europe and even Hollywood shooting a documentary on ledgendary film directors. Multicamera work has also been an expanding area of expertise, in which John has been employed as camera operator by Vodafone, IBM, Rock Steadi Pictures (for which he also flys Steadicam) and regularly shoots many concerts & events in the south west, all now with our 4:2:2 HD OB kit. Vision mixing is an area John also has some experience in, and for smaller events & broadcasts he can often be found as much in the gallery as on camera. Be assured that if John is filming for you, be it as cameraman, as DoP, or on Steadicam, you will receive motion pictures of the very highest standard, and enjoy the process of aquiring them.
